What is phone unlocking?
Unlocking a phone allows you to use the SIM card from another provider, and therefore their service.
Can my phone be unlocked? Does the phone take a SIM card? If so, then yes.
For example, older models of phones that work on the Rogers or Fido network may be unlocked, however, may only work on Rogers or Fido in Canada, but, will work on other networks overseas.
